Keeping your regular checkup schedule with cleanings and examinations will allow us to identify and correct small issues, like tooth decay, before they become larger oral health problems.

Children's Dental Care

A child can a see a dentist as early as 12 months old, especially if you have any concerns. However we find that once kids are 2 years old is a great time for the child’s first visit.

You might be eligible for Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS) . Eligible children will have access to a benefit cap of $1013 over a two calendar year period.

Fillings

Tooth Decay can happen on both baby teeth and adult teeth. If left untreated the decay can spread and cause serious infection and pain. It is always best to have regular check up as you will not always be able to tell if you need a filling.

We are able to offer white fillings which will perfectly match the shade of your teeth so your filling isn’t noticeable.

Gum Disease

These are some of the symptoms of gum disease

  • Bleeding gums
  • Receding gums
  • Swelling of gums
  • Bad breath
  • Bad taste in the mouth
  • Sensitive gums
  • Loose teeth

If you have any of the following please make arrangements for us to evaluate your gums and make the necessary recommendation. Gum health is important since research shows a link between gum disease and an increased risk of stroke, diabetes and fertility problems.

Root Canal

When is it necessary to do Root canal Treatment?

When tooth decay has reached the nerve of the tooth or trauma to tooth has affected the pulp of the tooth. You can no longer fix it by putting a filling. Your options are to remove the tooth or do root canal treatment.

Symptoms of infection reaching the pulp

  • Pain
  • Pimple on the gum near the tooth
  • Sensitive to hot or cold

Wisdom Teeth

Wisdom teeth are our last  teeth to emerge and are located in the back of the mouth. They emerge usually in the late teens or early twenties  and for some, with pain and discomfort.

All wisdom teeth do not need to be removed. However, if there is lack of space in the mouth they sometimes become fully or partially impacted, grow at an angle inside your jawbone, which can cause an infection. You may feel pain or be subject to tooth decay since the wisdom teeth are difficult to clean properly with a brush or floss.
