CBDS(Child Dental Benefits Schedule)

CDBS is a service is provided by medicare, it covers part or the full cost of some dental services for children if you get certain payments from medicare. $1000 worth of free treatment for eligible children

To get this your child must be:

• 2 to 17 years old for at least 1 day that year
• eligible for Medicare
• getting a payment from medicare at least once a year, or have a parent getting a payment from medicare at least once a year.

If you are eligible do let us know when you make an appointment and bring along child's/ward's medicare card. We will need you to fill in a bulk billing consent form.

Range of services covered include examinations, x-rays, cleaning, fissure sealing, fillings, root canals and extractions. Benefits are not available for orthodontic or cosmetic dental work
